Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.

Unicorn Guidance Tuesday 4 September
Ruling Archangel: Camael (Mars)
Crystal of the day: Tiger’s eye
Lunar phase: Waning Moon in Gemini, changing to Cancer at 13.03 BST
Mars is the ruler of war, conflict, courage, athleticism and libido. The corresponding Archangel is Camael and with the 5 of Swords appearing as our card of the day, it may not be a bad idea to call on his assistance, because if ever there was a card of conflict it would be this one. The Tarot 5’s all fall under the influence of the Sephirah Geburah on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Geburah corresponds with Mars as well, so we have a double whammy of this conflict energy today.
Guidance from the Unicorns on how to best deal with any conflicts comes in the form of the ‘Imagination’ card from the Oracle of the Unicorns. It is important to not act before you tune into your gut feeling today. Use your empathy to try to understand where the other person is coming from. Listen closely to your emotions. If you are too upset to be able to connect with your inner guidance, you need to withdraw from the situation completely and restore peace of mind first. Acting without being aligned with your inner guidance will create a lose-lose situation for all involved.
Archangel Camael can assist with courage today if need be. Simply call on him if you find yourself under siege. Wearing red, the colour of Camael, will help too if you are facing a formidable foe like your own fear. Tiger’s eye is a wonderful crystal to wear when we find that people seek to cross our personal boundaries as it strengthens the third chakra. The Bach Flower remedy Mimulus may also be helpful for any fears and phobias we face regularly.
It is as important to know when to retreat as when to attack and our intuition is usually the best guide for both.
Conflict avoidance is not possible today but you can give yourself a break to seek guidance from your intuition before you make your move. In fact, that is the only viable way forward to minimise the impact of the conflict you need to deal with today. Some spiritual folk, seem to think that avoiding conflict is more ‘evolved’ than to engage in it. The truth is that conflict is sometimes how we evolve – especially when we trust our inner guidance.A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Prov.15:1 Click To Tweet
