Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.

Unicorn Guidance Wednesday 5 September
Ruling Archangel: Raphael (Mercury)
Crystal of the day: Green fluorite
Lunar phase: Waxing Moon in Libra moves into Scorpio at 19:14 BST
Yesterday’s momentum is slowing down today as the Moon is getting ready to transit into inward-looking Scorpio where we get a chance re-calibrate to make sure that what we do is aligned with our most deeply held values and passions.
The cards for today are the 4 of Swords from the Tarot of Enchanted Dreams and Nature from the Oracle of the Unicorns. They are further confirmation that we make the most of today’s energy by pausing to reflect and making sure that our energy is in harmony with the world around us.
The 4 of Swords corresponds with Jupiter in Libra. The associated Archangels are Sachiel for Jupiter and Anael for Libra. This is a card of great healing through rest and allowing the body/nature do its thing. If you have been rushing around for the sake of staying busy, this is your amber light to slow down and just be… just breathe…
Sometimes, the most effective thing we can do is to just sit and watch the world go by. We need to realise that the world is not as dependent on our staying busy and active as it is on our being in harmony. Being ‘lazy’ is just as sacred as working hard.
This can be a very difficult concept to grasp if we have been raised with a lot of guilt and shame around taking it easy. It took me decades to stop feeling guilty for sleeping in past in past 7 AM because constantly accused of being lazy growing up.
In learning to ignore our body’s signals for a need to rest, we also silence the voice of Spirit which depends on us being relaxed as well as quiet.
This may very well be a busy day for you. I know it will be a very busy one for me… but the message from the Realm of the Unicorns for today is a wonderful reminder of the need to take a break to simply be – preferably outside, in the fresh air…Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are. ~ Chinese Proverb Click To Tweet
